Eye Camp For Children (February 2012)

KWS organized camp at BHU Kaloor sharif for Primary Schools Student suffering from different Eye diseaes.Data was provided by School Health supervisors of Tehsil Isa khel and Dr.Asif (child specialist thq isa khel).During camp 112 students were examined by Dr Mohib Ur Rahman (Eye Specialist THQ Isa khel),48 student were provided spectacles and remaining were given medicine for different problems.

Water supply and Sanitation

Water supply and Sanitation:

Many areas of Tehsil Esa Khel are deprived from clean water. Due to this, Diahrea, Typhoid, Cholera and worm diseases are common. To respond this problem, Khawaja Welfare Society started two water supply schemes with the cooperation of Asian Bank. This project cost Rs. 9.8 million- 2 percent was collected from local resources and 98 percent was provided by Asian Bank.

Zeenat-ul-Islam Model elementary college

Zeenat-ul-Islam Model elementary college 

 Education is inevitable for development. Keeping in view, the under development of the area, Zeenat-ul-Islam primary school was registered which is now registered as elementary. Earlier it was on a rental place but now the society has built an owned building. It has six rooms and verandah. For better understanding of modern and religious education- compute and Quran’s education is free here. Khawaja Welfare Society gives books, uniform and monthly scholarship the deserving students.

Free eye camps

Free eye camps

In Tarag and surrounding areas, cataract is a common disease. People usually associate this disease to old age and left without cure and lost their eye sight. Secondly, people are careless due to poverty and distant hospitals. To counter this problem, the society organized first eye camp in 1992. Since then every year, the society organizes minimum one free eye camp. Medical team went to dispensaries of distant areas-checked the patients and give dates of operations to the related patients.

Society is responsible to provide food, residence and medicines. Highly competent eye surgeons and experts are part of our medical team. Doctor Abdul Rasheed from Attock, Dr.A.R Aamir Awan (MIANWALI), Dr.Muhib-ur-Rehman (ESA KHEL) and their colleagues Dr.Akmal Awan, Dr.Tariq Sheikh and Dr.Hafiz Muhammad Asif (Eye specialist DHQ Mianwali Head of Eye Department) are serving sincerely.
